Is this a joke?
Our (as we like to think of them) cousins the Pastafarians have to deal with this question a lot. No. We may not be always spitting fire and brimstone, and we may not really believe in some parts of our belief, but if you say that compromises the validity of our religion, then we ask "what are the requirements for a religion?". We argue religion is not about belief, but about believing you believe, or maybe in our case not caring whether we believe. So in short, no this is not some joke religion. Not completely at least.
Is this an atheist's club?
Another one our cousins have to tackle a lot. Actually there is a lot of overlap between our and the Pastafarian's FAQs so maybe look that over here. From the above question this should be obvious. No. If you are an atheist, feel free to join, but then you are not an atheist anymore because this is a religion. Same goes for agnostics.
What is this faith's view on *insert subject*?
We believe in everybody being entitled to their own view, so we aren't going to talk about things like Trump and abortion. However we also believe in everyone starting on equal footing, so that means anything someone doesn't have control of shouldn't be a reason to dislike them. LGBTQ+? Just people. Any particular race? Just people. Women? Just people. Duh. White straight males? Just people. We assume you get the drift. If you have any prejudices towards any group of people that can't be blamed for their traits, we encourage you to rethink your beliefs, because while we believe in everyone being entitled to their own view, we don't want racist, homophobic, misogynist, or crazy feminist (not to be confused with non-crazy feminist, you guys are fine) members if at all possible. And if you really don't want to change your mindset, just keep it to yourself for the love of TLSC.
